Quality Management Center (QMC) was founded in January 2002, with the support of the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) in the framework of Enterprise development project in Central Asia implemented by The Pragma Corporation. QMC head office is located in Almaty. Regional consultants work in Atyrau and Uralsk. 

In 2004, QMC implemented Quality Management System and successfully passed certification audit conducted by internationally recognized certification body Orion Registrar, Inc. (USA), received and maintains certification status in compliance with ISO 9001 requirements.

Training and consulting services provided by QMC help companies and organizations adapt standards’ requirements to their business, and let them to be compliant to the requirements of such international standards as ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 17025, ISO 22000, ISO/IEC 27001, ISO 37001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001 and others.

Currently, the Center has successfully completed around 400 projects on implementation of management systems in accordance with the requirements of ISO 9001, ISO 13485, ISO 14001, ISO 22000/HACCP, ISO 27001, ISO 50001, OHSAS 18001, GDP standards; more than 6,000 people have been trained on different standards.

QMC consultants have experience working in various sectors of the economy. All QMC’s consultants have attended internationally recognized training programs and are continuously up-grading their qualification and skills both in consulting and audit.

All QMC consultants are Certified Auditors/Lead Auditors listed in International Register of Certificated Auditors (IRCA, UK, www.irca.org) and invited by certification bodies to conduct audits that proves high level of their qualification. 100% QMC consultants have status of the PECB (Canada, www.pecb.org) Certified ISO 9001:2015 Lead Implementers (the only ones in Kazakhstan), Certified ISO 31000 Risk Managers.

All QMC clients successfully pass certification audits conducted by international certification bodies and are awarded the certificates for compliance with international standards’ requirements – which proves high level of services provided by the QMC.


In February 2014, our Center received the status of an Authorized training partner of PECB Group Inc. (Professional Evaluation and Certification Board, Canada) – Personnel Certification Body accredited by IAS (International Accreditation Body, USA) in accordance with ISO 17024, and delivers internationally accredited training courses and examination for professionals in the field of management systems standards (ISO 9001, ISO 22301, ISO 27001, ISO 31000, ISO 37001, and others - more than 30 programs).

For many years, QMC has been successfully cooperating with such international companies as Karachaganak Petroleum Operating, Agip KCO, North Caspian Operating Company N.V. (NCOC N.V.), International Finance Corporation (IFC, World Bank), being their officially approved supplier of consulting and training services; as well as  20 projects are successfully implemented with the support of the Small Business Support Group of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development - SBS-EBRD.
